We are located in the heart of Driffield, the capital of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, our shop has been firmly established in the market town for three decades and our belief in ultimate quality has never changed in all of that time.
Tindall’s Butchers moved into Driffield in 1982 having been established in Hull in 1974 by Chris and Fran Tindall.
Very quickly they established a good reputation for the quality of their service and produce and having outgrown their original premises they moved “across the road” ten years later.
Their beef and lamb together with outdoor pigs are sourced from local farms which are fastidious in their husbandry and quality of animals bred and fed on the superb rolling grassland of the Yorkshire Wolds and Vale of York. Only when each carcase has been hung and matured to perfection is it considered ready to sell.
Chris and Fran recognise that their continued good reputation is also dependent upon the quality of their team.
The well know phrase of “youth and experience” is a testament to the in house training given by Chris and Fran in association with M.E.A.T. (Ipswich) Ltd, the “well respected” Meat Industry training company and upon their enthusiasm and dedication working together as a team for the benefit of all.
